On February 7, 2022, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office released a Memorandum on the call for participation of HEIs and volunteers from the Higher Education sector on the National COVID-19 Vaccination Days Part III in response to the advisory released by the National COVID-19 Vaccination Operations Center (NVOC) in the deployment of medical, nursing, and allied health professionals, teachers, and data professionals.
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga participated on February 10, 2022, at Brgy. Limaha Butuan City. Dr. Frederick C. Amihan, RN, CHED Education Supervisor, and the Local Vaccination Operations Center (LVOC) of the City Health Office assisted in assessing clients to receive COVID-19 vaccine shots.
