Seven hundred thirty-eight applicants registered online while only more than two hundred of them personally submitted their documents on March 2, 2020 for the application of the CHED Scholarship Programs (CSP) for the Academic Year 2020-2021 at the CHED Caraga Regional Office, HEDC Building, Ampayon, Butuan City. This year, CHEDRO Caraga launches the online application system to accommodate applications of the expected 30,000 (more or less) Senior High School Graduates of the region. The initiative is made to accommodate the increased number of applicants especially those who live in remote areas but still can access the internet.

For the online application, the simplified process includes online registration, printing the accomplished application form with the given verification code, then submitting it with the attached requirements at the Scholarship Office. With these simple steps, the process for submitting and validating the required documents will be easy for both the applicants and scholarship personnel. CHED Caraga has already prepared initiatives on the anticipated influx of application by adding more staff to assist applicants, and to receive and validate the submitted requirements. Application period will last until May 31, 2020 and the receiving of documents will be extended up to June 30, 2020.
