After nearly two months of preparation following the Stage 1 Readiness Audit last November 2023, CHED Caraga underwent a two-day Stage 2 Certification Audit conducted by auditors from SOCOTEC, an ISO certification body, on January 8-9, 2024.
The following processes were audited:
A. Processing Request for the Issuance of Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CAV) of Student’s Academic Records,
B. Processing Request for the Issuance of Special Orders (S.O.)
C. Issuance of National Service Training Program (NSTP) Serial Numbers,
D. Application for Increase in Tuition and Other School Fees (TOSF)
E. Application for Student Financial Assistance Programs (StuFAPs) / CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CSP),
F. Application for Initial Permit (GP) / Government Recognition (GR) / Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for Undergraduate Programs except for Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation(BSMT), Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering ( BS MarE), Programs without Existing Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (PSGs) and those under the Legal Education Board (LEB).
At the end of the rigorous audit process, CHED Caraga was recommended for certification to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, subject to receipt of satisfactory documented response to the identified action item(s).This significant positive step in the Officeโs journey towards successful certification of its processes is gratefully celebrated! The Office holds true to its continued commitment in providing the utmost quality service to its stakeholders in the higher education sector.
