The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Caraga, through Engr. Emman Lliam L. Prisco, Innovation Unit Head, together with S&T Fellow, Dr. Mariero Gawat, discussed various opportunities for collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga on January 28, 2026 at the CHED Caraga Regional Office.
The discussion focused on the proposed initiatives to advance research, development and innovation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) across higher education institutions in the region.
CHED Caraga Regional Director, Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, expressed her strong interest in pursuing more collaborative initiatives with regional line agencies as the Commission pushes for a strengthened and harmonized R&D for the higher education community.
