CSU ranked 1401 – 1500 in the Quacquerelli Symonds (QS) Asia Rankings 2026, and ranked 601 – 800 in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025.

The award was conferred by CHED Chairperson, Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis to Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, CSU President.

This historic achievement, being the first university in the region to join the prestigious recognition, reflects the institutionโ€™s strong commitment to global competitiveness, while contributing to the development of the region.

The ICONS Awards is an annual event organized by the CHED International Affairs Service to recognize the exemplary performance of PHEIs in terms of their high-impact initiatives towards sustainability, ASEAN awareness, and internationalization. This yearโ€™s ICONS gathered a total of 173 strong HEIs across the country who championed the higher education sector at the global stage.

CHED Caraga is looking forward to more HEIs joining the roster of internationally ranked institutions in the next awarding cycle.Once again, congratulations, CSU! Bugsay!
