Six (6) Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Caraga are now officially recognized as Delivering HEIs for the implementation of CHED’s Scholarships for Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP). DHEIs include 1) Agusan del Sur College of Agriculture and Technology; 2) Caraga State University (CarSU); 3) Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU); 4) Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU); 5) Philippine Normal University (PNU) Mindanao; and 6) Saint Joseph Institute of Technology (SJIT).
Under the CHED SIKAP program, DHEIs are CHED-approved institutions that host and deliver graduate programs for qualified faculty and staff from other HEIs. Their primary role is to provide the opportunities and resources for SIKAP scholars to pursue advanced degrees, thereby enhancing the quality of tertiary education in the Philippines
This partnership between CHED Caraga and the aforesaid DHEIs were sealed through a series Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held on August 05, 2025 (for ASSCAT, CarSU, SNSU, and PNU Mindanao), August 18, 2025 (for FSUU), and August 19, 2025 (for SJIT).
CHED Caraga looks forward to a meaningful partnership in advancing quality post graduate education for both teaching and non-teaching personnel across different institutions in the region.
