The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga, in partnership with the Caraga Council of Tourism Deans and Educators (CCTDE), successfully conducted the Culmination Program of the 5th National Higher Education Day and 31st CHED Founding Anniversary on May 29, 2025 at Robinsons Place, Butuan City.

The celebration was highlighted with the Hospitality and Tourism Inter-Collegiate Skills Competitions: Table Napkin Folding; Tour Guiding; and Flair Bartending, showcasing the talents and competencies of students in the region’s growing tourism and hospitality sector. These contests were participated by various higher education institutions across the region.

The event further facilitated the oath taking of officers of the Caraga Council of Criminology Deans and Educators which was led by CHED Caraga Regional Director, Dr. Nelia A. Alibin.

It also included the announcement of winners of the CHED Caraga Sportsfest 2025 actively participated by the CHED Caraga personnel.

The culminating activity celebrated the contributions of higher education to nation-building and emphasized CHED Caraga’s commitment to enhancing industry-aligned skills, promoting academic excellence through healthy competition and collaboration.
