The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga joined fellow regional and central office representatives at the Coordinative Conference of the CHED Office of the Executive Director (OED), Office of the Programs and Standards Development (OPSD), and CHED regional offices held on May 14, 2025, at Luxent Hotel, Quezon City.⁣ ⁣

Anchored on the theme, β€œInnovating for Efficiency; Inspiring for Excellence,” the conference offered a space for meaningful discussions on innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement in the delivery of CHED services. ⁣⁣

The activity featured CHED’s Strategic Plan 2024–2028, institutional quality assurance, monitoring of graduate programs, and improved monitoring and evaluation tools. Various sector-specific workshops covering diverse areas such as education, technology, agriculture, business, and social sciences, were also facilitated by CHED officials and experts within the Commission. ⁣⁣

Representing CHED Caraga were the technical division personnel headed by Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, Director IV, together with Dr. Julia Felisa Martinez, Chief Education Program Specialist.⁣

Beyond the presentations and workshops, the event served as an opportunity to strengthen connections across offices, share successes and challenges, and build a stronger, more unified CHED community.
