The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga officially awarded the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to the Bachelor of Science in Criminology program of Northeastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) – Cantilan Campus during a ceremonial event held on April 28, 2025 at NEMSU Cantilan Gym, Cantilan, Surigao del Sur.

Certificate was issued in compliance with CHED Memorandum order No. 5 series of 2018, “Policies, Standards and Guidelines for the Bachelor of Science in Criminology Program,” and shall remain in force as long as the institution sustains conformity to said standards.

The ceremony was graced by CHED Caraga Regional Director, Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, Mr. Amy C. Saavedra, Education Supervisor II, together with NEMSU officials and staff headed by the University President, Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon.

CHED Caraga commended NEMSU-Cantilan for its commitment to continuous improvement and academic excellence, essential to producing competent professionals in the field of criminology.
