The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) – Caraga successfully conducted the CHED Caraga TechTalk: Updates on Records Services Systems, Data Collection, and other records-related concerns on April 15, 2025 via teleconference.
The TechTalk provided timely updates and technical guidance for the Registrars of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the region on essential records-related systems, including the Electronic Certification, Authentication and Verification (eCAV) system and the Special Order Application and Issuance System (SOAIS), presented by Mr. Calwin M. Alegre, Project Technical Staff III/Programmer.
Status on the submission of Annual Data Collection and issues and concerns of document submission were also presented by Ms. Jesielyn Mae Ado, Project Technical Staff II/Regional Statistical Focal Officer. Ms. Revelyn P. Brina, the Records Officer of CHED Caraga, also emphasized CHED’s commitment to improving data accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in higher education management.
CHED Caraga, led by Regional Director Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, continues to promote digitalization and strengthen institutional capacities in data and records management, aligning with national efforts towards more responsive and streamlined educational services.
