The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga Regional Office joined the Agusan del Sur Provincial Youth Governance Coordination Meeting held on October 22, 2025 at the Provincial Learning Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.
Dr. Criseldo C. Calinawan, Education Supervisor II, discussed the provisions of the Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1 series of 2025 between CHED and the National Youth Commission (NYC), granting exemptions for the all incumbent Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Officials in good standing from taking any service components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP), and the privilege to be excused in classes during SK Meetings and Sangguniang Barangay Sessions.
The meeting was organized by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Agusan del Sur Provincial Office, and was participated by all SK Officials and Local Youth Development Officers of the province.
