The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga Regional Office successfully conducted its Mid-Year Assessment and Planning on August 6–7, 2025 at the Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City.
The two-day activity aimed to evaluate the office’s accomplishments for the first semester of CY 2025, identify challenges, and ensure alignment of initiatives to the Commission’s strategic agenda: 1) Advanced and Accessible Lifelong Learning; 2) Centralized One Nation Human Capital Development Plan; 3) Harmonized SDG Based Higher Education Research and Innovation Agenda; 4) Integrated Real-time Data Collection and Analytics System; 5) Expanded and Impact-Driven Internationalization Strategies; 6) Vitalized Policies, Internal Systems and Governance; and 7) Effective and Efficient Public Service
The Mid-Year Assessment and Planning was led by Regional Director Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, and was participated by the division and unit heads, together with various CHED Caraga personnel.
