CONTEST MECHANICS

I. Contest Overview

In line with the celebration of 2025 ASEAN Month Celebration, the Commission on Higher Education – Caraga Regional Office spearheads the ASEAN Advocacy Video Production Contest to engage Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in promoting ASEAN awareness and advocacy. 

With the theme “Buwan ng ASEAN: Sama-sama sa Pag-unlad,” the contest highlights ASEAN’s role in regional unity, inclusive growth, and the significant contributions of Philippine higher education to ASEAN progress.

II. Who Can Join

  • Open to all recognized HEIs in the Caraga Region.
  • Each HEI may submit one (1) official entry only.
  • Participants can be individual students or a team of students, with one faculty adviser.

III. Video Guidelines

  • Theme: “Buwan ng ASEAN: Sama-sama sa Pag-unlad”
  • Videos must reflect ASEAN cooperation, unity, peace, and shared development, highlighting the role of education, youth, and community in regional progress.
  • Genre: Short film, infomercial, or creative presentation
  • Duration: 2 to 5 minutes (including intro and credits)
  • Language: Filipino, English, or local dialect (must include English subtitles)
  • Format: MP4, landscape, minimum resolution of 720p
  • Original content only; no copyrighted material (music, video clips, etc.) unless properly licensed or credited.

VI. Awards and Recognition
 

  • Top 3 Winning Entries will receive cash prizes and certificates.

1st Prize : Php4,000.00

2nd Prize : Php2,000.00

3rd Prize : Php1,000.00


Winners will be announced on August 14, 2025 via CHED Caraga’s official facebook page.

Winning entries will be featured on CHED Caraga’s official platforms and ASEAN advocacy campaigns.

VII. Rights and Usage

  • All submitted entries remain the intellectual property of the creators.
  • CHED Caraga reserves the right to use submitted videos for education, promotion, and advocacy purposes, with proper attribution.
