IN PHOTOS: The UniFAST Caraga Regional Coordinators conducted an Awareness and Information Session on the Republic Act 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (UAQTEA) cum Capacity Building for CHED Caraga personnel on February 14, 2025 at the conference hall of the HEDC Building, Brgy. Ampayon, Butuan City.

After an opening message given by the CHED Caraga Regional Director Dr. Nelia A. Alibin on the need for all personnel to be continually oriented and updated on the programs under UAQTEA, Lead Regional Coordinator for UniFAST Caraga, Ms. Heidi M. Paradero, gave an overview of the programs under the Republic Act. She discussed the salient provisions of the guidelines on the Free Higher Education (FHE) Program, the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Program, and the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP).

Following the information session, a series of capacity building activities was conducted by the Human Resources unit of the office. Personnel who are birthday celebrants for the months of January and February were also duly recognized.
