The members of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga Technical Working Group (TWG) for the PRIME-HRM accreditation, led by the OIC Chief Administrative Officer and HR Focal Person Noeme Rose D. Mani, MM, CPA, conducted a benchmarking activity at the Philippine Science High School-Caraga Regional Campus (PSHS-CRC) relative to the schoolโs best practices in the implementation of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Level II indicators, on April 8, 2025.
The activity is aimed at strengthening the CHED Caragaโs HR systems, aligning processes with excellence-driven models, and furthering its commitment to fostering a high-performing and merit-based workplace.
During the visit, the participants gained valuable insights and best practices in the schoolโs implementation of strategic HR systems and standards that are compliant with the Civil Service Commission’s PRIME-HRM framework.
The group was warmly accommodated by the schoolโs officials, including the Campus Director, Engr. Ramil Sanchez, AO IV/Human Resource Officer Floramae Tormeto, and FAD Chief Charity Romano. Other members of the TWG, namely, Angel A. Asis, Ma. Mercedes R. Vitor, Jesielyn Mae I. Ado, and Mona Pia G. Galing, also raised clarificatory questions to achieve the objectives of the benchmarking activity.
The PRIME-HRM program seeks to establish merit-based practices and excellence in human resource management within government agencies and institutions. CHED Caraga’s pursuit of PRIME-HRM accreditation and the Bronze Award reflects its dedication to creating a work environment that values high performance and merit.
