The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga Regional Office successfully concluded its Women’s Month celebration on March 24, 2025 with a vibrant and insightful program, emphasizing gender and development in the government sector and womenโs significant contributions, particularly to higher education, and the community as a whole.
Highlights of the celebration include an inspiring message from CHED Caraga Regional Director, Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, followed by a comprehensive presentation on Gender Mainstreaming by Dr. Frederick C. Amihan, Education Supervisor II and GAD focal person.
Adding excitement to the event were fun games and a lively flash mob, fostering teamwork among participants. A mini bazaar also showcased various products from women entrepreneurs, providing them with a platform to promote their businesses and celebrate their economic contributions.
CHED Caraga also invited representatives from PhilHealth Caraga who imparted valuable information on healthcare benefits, inclusive for all employees and their beneficiaries.
The celebration reaffirmed CHED Caragaโs commitment to advocating for gender equality and empowering women in all sectors of society.
