The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga, led by Regional Director Dr. Nelia A. Alibin, along with Education Supervisors II Dr. Frederick A. Amihan, Dr. Rolyna S. Trugillo, and Mr. Amy C. Saavedra, attended a consultative meeting at NEMSU – Cantilan Campus on March 4, 2025, regarding the universityโ€™s application for a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its Bachelor of Science in Criminology program.

Mr. Saavedra, the Education Supervisor II in charge of the program, assisted by Dr. Amihan, discussed with NEMSU officials and staff the remaining requirements needed for the issuance of the COPC.

Meanwhile, Regional Director Alibin and Dr. Trugillo conducted an ocular inspection of the programโ€™s laboratories and facilities. They were accompanied by the institutionโ€™s Assistant Campus Director, Dr. Odinah Cuartero Enteria, along with faculty members, staff, and students of the BS in Criminology program.

The meeting concluded with an agreement that NEMSU – Cantilan Campus would fulfill the remaining requirements as soon as possible, while CHED Caraga reaffirmed its full support in facilitating the issuance of the COPC.
