CHED Caraga, in collaboration with UniFAST, hosted the CHED Caraga FUELS: Funding Undergraduate Excellence for Learning and Success – CHED Scholars and UniFAST Grantees Orientation Program Cum Capacity Building Seminar at LMX Convention Center, Butuan City. The event aimed to enhance scholars’ understanding of financial aid programs and promote their academic, financial, and personal growth.
Representatives from all HEIs in Caraga attended the seminar, which featured orientations on key scholarships like the CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP), the Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (CoScho), and the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Grants-In-Aid for Higher Education Program (ACEF-GIAHEP), as well as the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) under the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST). Additional sessions on financial literacy and mental health were conducted to equip scholars with essential competencies for academic success and overall well-being.
With this successful initiative, CHED Caraga continues to fuel excellence in higher education, ensuring that scholars are well-informed, financially capable, and mentally resilient as they pursue their academic and professional aspirations.
