The CHED Caraga personnel were hard at work for over 12 hours during Day 1 of the 2022 Mid-Year Assessment and Planning Workshop, held at the Lime and Zest Kitchen, Watergate Hotel, Butuan City from July 21-22, 2022. Led by Regional Director Dr. George Colorado, and attended by Unit Heads, Division Heads, and Program Heads of the office as well as selected personnel, the first of the two-day workshop involved the presentation of the previous 2019-2021 CHED Strategic Plan and the Accomplishments for the 1st Semester of the Fiscal Year 2022. After the presentations and a short Health Break with a lively Zumba dance, personnel worked together in teams to accomplish the first workshop out of four: The Identification of Milestones, Gaps, and Challenges.
A workshop on the preparation of OPCR 2022 was conducted by Dr. Rolyna S. Trugillo on the second day, which was followed by the presentation of action plans and OPCR for the 2nd semester by section. Ms. Alma Sy-Patron, Chief Administrative Officer also presented the CHED Caraga Strategic Plan 2022-2024.
The said activity was wrapped up with the response of Dr. George M. Colorado, Regional Director, on the workshop’s inputs and outputs. An evaluation of the activity then follow and was finalized with a synthesis and closing remarks by Dr. Julia Felisa M. Martinez, Chief Education Program Specialist. The two-day workshop was indeed fulfilling and fun from all the knowledge and ideas being shared.
