The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga, through Dr. Frederick C. Amihan, Education Supervisor II and GAD Focal, actively participated in the CHED-wide Midyear Assembly and Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF) Training Workshop held on June 17-19, 2025 in Clark, Pampanga.
The three-day workshop gathered the members of CHEDβs GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) and Technical Working Group (TWG) across the regions to assess and strengthen gender mainstreaming initiatives within the higher education sector. It further capacitated CHEDROsβ GAD focal persons in effectively utilizing the GMEF self-assessment, crucial in determining the current level of gender mainstreaming within the regional offices and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
